Peace! My name is LeShay. I am the owner and herbalist here at Asase Yaa Botanicals, LLC, where we sell herbal remedies, supplements, and self-care products. I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. After high school, I attended college at Southeastern Louisiana University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and later received a Master of Public Administration degree from Southern University A&M College. I married my college sweetheart in 2020 and we have two beautiful children together. It wasn't until I became pregnant with my first child that I discovered my love for herbalism. It amazed me how much we can benefit from plants from the earth and as they are. I did research, completed herbal programs, and read books on topics ranging from Ayurveda to African healing. I began making herbal products for just my family in 2017. In 2020, I decided to share my knowledge and products with the world. Our mission here at Asase Yaa Botanicals is to move past the disconnect (from the practices of our ancestors) and exploring the possibilities of our natural world for health benefits. We strive to educate and empower people through quality, accessible, and affordable herbal products for the entire family.
